The City of Harrisonville is excited to introduce a new power outage reporting system that provides real-time updates and a map of current power outages.
Hometown Grid is available at >> www.hometowngrid.com/harrisonville
Hometown Grid makes reporting outages easier and more accessible for all members of the Harrisonville community, whether you prefer texting, calling or viewing outages on a map that features real-time updates.
Beginning on May 1, 2025, all power outages should be reported by texting or calling 833-976-3341.
Those who use the system will be asked to answer a few basic prompts to help utility crews identify the source of the problem and add the address of the outage to the live map. You can then track outages on the map to see when power is restored.
Hometown Grid is a cutting-edge solution designed to enhance community support and improve the efficiency of local utility providers. With features such as a public facing outage map, customer reporting via text or phone without registration and automated responses, Hometown Grid empowers utilities to streamline communication and build trust during critical situations.
