Final-10

Mayor Judy Bowman issued her 2022 State of the City Address on Thursday, May 19, during the Harrisonville Area Chamber of Commerce's May luncheon.

Bowman spoke about consistent growth throughout the community, highlighted by increases in both residential and commercial construction, the arrival of several new retail businesses, strong sales tax revenues, ongoing infrastructure improvements and more!

"We have come a long way toward reshaping city government to be more responsive to our citizens and to strengthen the position of Harrisonville for the future," Bowman said. "I can tell you, it has been an exciting road we have been on together, and an exciting future that awaits our City."

Bowman spoke about making Harrisonville a place where tradition meets innovation, as we look a head five, 10 and even 20 years.

"There is no doubt in my mind that the resurgent growth we have seen the past few years is going to continue as more people discover what we have to offer," Bowman said.
