[ARCHIVED] Where Tradition Meets Innovation!

New logo

As our community continues to grow and develop, we want to make sure the tools we have in place to showcase our City do the same.

That's why we teamed up with 2A Marketing, in Belton, to redesign and reimagine the City's logo.

Our goal was not only to update the logo, but to make sure that the new logo was easily recognizable, honors our history and captures the unique relationship between the City of Harrisonville and Cass County.

Harrisonville is in a unique position, serving as the county seat for Cass County. Throughout our history, the most iconic piece of Harrisonville has been the Historic Cass County Courthouse on the square. In an effort to avoid simply using the courthouse, a building the City does not own or operate, we looked at options that would allow us to capture the true essence of the square. We believe we have found this in building the H out of red bricks, like those on the square, and using the clock tower of the courthouse to fill the open space in the bottom of the H.

During this process, we also took the time to update the City slogan: Where Tradition Meets Innovation.

This new slogan came about as we partnered with members of our community to create our new City-Wide Comprehensive Plan. We feel this new slogan both describes and empowers Harrisonville, and we will be using it prominently as we share our story.
