The City of Harrisonville's 2020 Street Asphalt Mill & Overlay project will begin on April 29, 2021.
The work will be done by Metro Asphalt Inc. out of Independence, MO.
Metro Asphalt say they expect the project to last about three weeks.
The schedule for the work will be as follows:
Price Avenue from E Elm Street to E Mechanic Street
E Elm Street from W Mechanic Street to Thunderbird Drive
W Wall Street from West of Butler Drive 750 feet to the east
Ann Avenue from Stacy Road to Chapel Lane
Butler Terrace from E Pearl Street to W Wall Street
Butler Drive from E Pearl Street to W Wall Street
Butler Drive from W Wall Street to W Mechanic Street
E Pearl Street from Butler Terrace to Butler Drive
Bradley Street from E Pearl Street to E Mechanic Street
Stella Street from E Pearl Street to Mechanic Street
Hillside Drive from Delmar Street to Crestwood Drive
(Streets are listed in the order in which they will be completed.)
Metro Asphalt will be delivering notices to those living on the streets mentioned above. The notice reads:
"Starting (date) please do not park any vehicles on the street between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., as we will be cold milling your street. In case of rain, cold missing will be delayed until the first day of dry weather without any additional notice. Please remove your vehicle from the street until this process has been completed. Please use extra caution when near a construction area, we don't want you or our workers injured in an accident. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you and we thank you in advance for your cooperation. No further notices will be handed out.
