On March 2, the Board of Aldermen voted to change the start times of their bi-monthly meetings to 6 p.m.
Currently, Board meetings are held on the first and third Monday’s of each month and begin at 7 p.m. The new start time will go into effect on Monday, March 16.
As part of the vote, Board of Aldermen Work Sessions will also have a new start time; beginning immediately following the regular Board meeting.
The time change was proposed by City Administrator Brad Ratliff, as a way to more efficiently utilize the time of the Mayor, Board members, City staff and the public.
