With severe weather and summer projects playing a big role in the lives of Harrisonville residents, many are left wondering what to do with all the brush that has built up since the last drop off event.
Allow us to offer a solution!
The City of Harrisonville will hold the fall version of its bi-annual Brush Drop Off event on Friday, October 25, and Saturday, October 26.
The drop off location will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on both days, with gates closing promptly at 5 p.m.
To access the drop off site, residents will need to follow the directional signs from the pool in the City Park at Bradley Avenue and Ash Street. Crews will be available to help unload trailers.
Crews ask that all limbs be less than 10 inches in diameter and want to remind residents that no yard waste will be accepted.
The drop off event is limited to those living within the Harrisonville City limits. Contractors will not be permitted to use the service. Residents should be prepared to show proof of residency, such as a utility bill, before using the drop off.
Mulch and compost will be available for residents. The City will provide the equipment for loading all outgoing materials.
