POLICE STATION: PATROL OFFICER LOCKERS

Sealed proposals will be received by the City Clerk at Harrisonville City Hall, 300 E. Pearl St., Harrisonville, Missouri, until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019. At which time, proposals for Police Station:Patrol Officer Lockers, will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers of City Hall.

Address sealed bid packages to the attention of the City Clerk and mark on the outside of the envelope “Police Station: Patrol Officer Lockers.”

Specifications are available online or by contact the Harrisonville Police Department.

The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any technicalities, irregularities, or informalities therein; and to determine which is the lowest, responsive, responsible and best bid to accept.

Bids may be modified or withdrawn by written request of the bidder received in the office of the City Clerk, prior to the time and date for bid opening.


New Rotary Cutter - Radial Arm Mower

RFP- P&R -2019-03 – Specifications

The City of Harrisonville, Missouri invites interested vendors to submit a signed and sealed proposal for a new Rotary Cutter – Radial Arm Mower with the following specifications:

• Tractor engine minimum 45 HP/4410lbs
• Rotor Super Cut, Universal
• For Grass and light brush
• Cutting Capacity 1 inch diameter
• Cutting Width 39 inches
• Weight approximately 300 pounds
• List warranty, parts and labor.
• Two extra mower blades to be included in the bid

City of Harrisonville 2019 July 4th Fireworks Show


The City of Harrisonville is seeking sealed bids to provide a Fireworks Show on Thursday, July 4, 2019, for the Harrisonville Parks & Recreation Department.

Proposals are due on Friday, May 24, at 3 p.m. and must meet general requirements, as outlined in the total bid specification.

Proposals should include a list of:

1. The size, type and brand of shells to be fired.
2. A reference listing of comparable fireworks shows done by the vendor during the last five years.
3. The number of years of experience each technician that will be involved with the show has.

Selection of the vendor will be at the sole discretion of the City of Harrisonville Park Board and will be based on the City’s judgment of the best combination of price, the proposed show content, vendor’s performance record and references from other cities.

The specifications should be considered minimum and should not prohibit a bidder from substituting fireworks of a higher quality material or equipment. Any substitutions must be noted and explained.

All bid proposals must be received by the required deadline. The City of Harrisonville reserves the right to add to, delete from or reject any and all proposals received.

TIME, DATE, & COST

1.) The date of the show shall be Thursday July 4, 2019 from 9:30 – 10 p.m. (approximate) at Camp Reeder on Lexington Street, located north of Harrisonville City Park at 706 Ash Street in Harrisonville, MO. Directions to the park are available if needed.
2.) The total cost of the fireworks show shall not exceed $14,000.
3.) The bid shall specify a charge, if any, to re-schedule a rain date. The decision to have or not have a rain date will be at the sole discretion of the City of Harrisonville.
4.) The bid shall specify a charge for set-up and tear down if the show is canceled.

DISPLAY

1.) Show length shall be a minimum of 25 minutes.
2.) Display shall be a continuous presentation with no gaps longer than 10 seconds.
3.) Majority of shells to be in the 3” to 6” range (including candles/fountains). Maximum size of the shells shall not exceed 10” in diameter. Total minimum shells shall be 370 for the general show and 190 for the finale; Intermingled within the shots will be between 15 and 18 cake displays ranging between 3,296 and 3,696 shots. All fireworks will be manufactured by reputable companies known within the fireworks industry (i.e. Sunny, Lidu, Flower King, etc.) Ground effect displays and low level shells may also be included.
4.) Finale shall last 45 – 60 seconds.
