The city pays up to $480 per month for major medical and vision insurance for an employee; up to $710 for second tier major medical and vision coverage, which is for an employee plus his or her choice of either spouse or children; or up to $810 per month for major medical and vision insurance for an employee and his or her dependents (spouse and children).
The employee is responsible for dependent coverage through payroll deductions
